Point of Single Contact
What is the Point of Single Contact?
The Point of Single Contact is an electronic window established by the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade which aims to facilitate the service providers the access to a service activity and necessary information.
With the Point of Single Contact, Kosovo aims to strengthen the economy and local entrepreneurship by making it easier to conduct business in the service sector and by facilitating trade in services with EU countries. This is done by enabling citizens, businesses, to undertake necessary administrative procedures online.
How can you use the Point of Single Contact?
As a one stop shop for all questions in the areas of service and professional recognition, the Point of Single Contact aims to provide you with information and coordinate procedures regarding administrative processes you need to complete to start your service activity in Kosovo.
Ultimately, the Point of Single Contact should make it possible for you to do all necessary administrative steps completely online – from your application to the payment of relevant administrative fees to receiving your permit, licence or registration.
Who can use the Point of Single Contact?
All citizens of Kosovo with a personal ID can use the services of the Point of Single Contact.
What does the Point of Single Contact currently offer?
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, supported by the EU Twinning Project „Assistance for implementing the Stabilisation and Association Agreement – the EU Services Directive 2006/123/EC“, is currently in the process of launching the Point of Single Contact. Currently, the prototype of the Point of Single Contact is being rolled out with one service, the registration as an auditor in Kosovo. Therefore, at the moment, the Point of Single Contact is in a testing phase. More services are planned to be added in the future.
How does Point of Single Contact work?
The online services of the Point of Single Contact are offered through the eKosova portal, developed and hosted by the Kosovo Agency for Information Society (ASHI).
To use the services for the Point of Single Contact, click on the relevant link of the service you want to use. This will bring you to the eKosova platform, where you can create your own account. Once you have created your account, you can go through the steps as described on the eKosova platform.
For the payment of administrative fees, eKosova is using the services of different banks to enable credit card payments. This is of no cost to you. Through your eKosova account, you can access and modify your application and can see the status of the application.
Currently, one service is offered by the Point of Single Contact through eKosova as a prototype, the application to register as an auditor.
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade together with the Agency of Information Society and other relevant Ministries is planning to develop the Point of Single Contact further and add more services.
